I spend plenty of time on streets of lots of cities, with no cell phone at all, so I hardly see a slow-access phone as limiting either. I could get a camera maybe, or one of the tiny emergency 911 keychain phones that do not require a cell phone plan... but a smartphone? Why is that needed? I use planes, trains, taxis, rideshare, hotels all over the world and shop all over the world and never been denied anything for not having a phone.
