  > Today, it's almost paradoxical that, Teslas have the least amount of raw sensors, yet have the most autonomous capability compared to any production car. Does what Waymo is doing not fall into "production car"? What about Mercedes Level 3? Seems to be a cherry picked criteria then.

    There are probably fewer than 4000 Waymo vehicles, total. That's changing fast. But it also shows how effective a small fleet with minimum downtime can rapidly take a few percent of the ride hailing business.
