- rightbyte 1y agoI don't know what stereotypes you speak of but I know of no stereotype that there would be more sport hooliganism in the US.
- MattGaiser 1y agoThe idea of the USA as a relatively chaotic and violent society.
- duxup 1y agoI think the US is seen as a generally more violent place, but they don't have the hooligan system with sports. A lot of US sports leagues (not all) are highly structured as far as player unions and restrictions on payrolls go. A teams ability to simply outspend the competition is not available in many leagues. Meanwhile European soccer is generally less restricted.
- FirmwareBurner 1y agoThose weren't "sports fans" destroying Paris, they were migrants. French sports hooligans would be waving the flags of their football club or France, not the one of Palestine, Morocco, etc. The amount of effort MSM puts to paint migration troubles on sports holdings is crazy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzqL_h8aP04 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzqL_h8aP04 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xos6_stb8wE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xos6_stb8wE
