Bombing civilians makes the population hardened, yes.
But this only makes the regime look weak.
- missedthecue 1y agoCurrent confirmed hits are 6 bombers and a couple transports. Whether every hit is a complete hull loss will need later confirmation. The initial report we heard of 40+ losses were over exaggerated. Fascinating asymmetric attack in any event. Google maps currently shows almost every non forward deployed B-1 lancer and B-52 in US inventory sitting in the sun at US bases across Louisiana, Texas, and Kansas. Places like Okinawa host most of the Pacific theater's aerial refuelers and there are zero shelters there. This drone technology is changing everything.
- fifilura 1y agoI think you are equally early to draw conclusions. Those are six aircraft confirmed by OSINT from 2 out of 5 attacked airports, probably based on clips released by SBU. Why are you so certain the number 40 is wrong?
- missedthecue 1y agoThere is already OSINT video footage of many of the airbases on telegram. No enough smoke or fire, many bases have no smoke or fire.
