Moreover, U.S. citizens are now, more than ever, regarded as morally deficient for allowing this administration to run amok. I’m a U.S. expat; and to a person, everyone where I live regards U.S. citizens with some mistrust over these abuses. It’s not universally warranted by any means; and most people recognize that a plurality exists. But on average the sentiment is not of unending “winning” as was promised, but of dismay.
