It is a shame. I think the tipping point was newegg the store vs newegg the marketplace. Newegg "the store" was pretty great, newegg "the marketplace" not so much. And unlike amazon at least newegg tells you who the seller is and keeps a big "only show results from the newegg store" filter present. but even despite that the store is not nearly as great as it once was. I wonder if there is anything left of amazon "the store", perhaps if you buy a book? Or has amazon "the marketplace" consumed everything.
