Tinder tests letting users set a 'height preference'
- dnemmers 1y agoAre they also looking to set preferences for chest, cup, waist, inseam, shoe, sleeve, and hat sizes?
- owebmaster 1y agoI'd assume only waist from these options is a preference stated as often as height, usually not by the same group of people
- b3ing 1y agoAll these numbers and metrics won’t help anyone, it’s superficial. Just like picking a guy if they drive a truck or are bald, that doesn’t mean they are a better person.
- bongoman42 1y agoAllowing men to set a BMI or weight preference would be business-wise far more sound decision. Their userbase is anyway men dominated and they are pretty much the entire revenue source.
- aaronbaugher 1y agoBut that imbalance means they have to cater to women to get them to sign up, or men won't have a reason to pay for the service. And if you start asking for weight or BMI, there goes most of your already-too-small female membership.
