'anon' accounts. I assure you I'm a real person. That, or I've managed to construct the most niche persona I can imagine lol.
In reality, I live in bluer-than-blue oregon with a literacy rate of 89%, which is lower than many state-level jurisdictions in 3rd world countries.
- indoordin0saur 1y agoI always hear stats like this but have a hard time believing it because I've never met an American adult who was illiterate. The idea that 11% of the people I see walking around out there can't even read just doesn't line up with observation.
