AI models being "sold" into apps is the new version of Google paying to be the default search in web browsers.
Main difference now is that the worst version is the only one being sold.
- asadotzler 1y agoMain difference is Google was paying a rev share, so both parties make bank off the deal, mostly Google. Here, there is no shared interest, just one company taking money from another for distribution with no financial return. Neither company has any incentive to make it work well.
