Suggest HN: anonymous insurance comparisons

I was thinking about building some kind of insurance comparison site where as a user you'd submit your key details (age, gender, etc.) as well as your monthly premium, and you'd get back an average of all matching (or similar) results so you'd be able to know if you're being ripped off and whether you should shop around for new insurance. But the number of variables is far too great for the number of permutations that would be available, making comparisons not so viable. Does anyone have any other ideas on how this could be implemented?
