Is this even still true?
And in any case there is 9950X3D
- johnb231 1y agoIntel's older 13th and 14th gen CPUs still have the fastest single core performance. But they are operating at their physical limit and tend to stop working after a few months. Unreliable trash. https://browser.geekbench.com/processor-benchmarks https://browser.geekbench.com/processor-benchmarks https://www.theverge.com/2024/7/26/24206529/intel-13th-14th-gen-crashing-instability-cpu-voltage-q-a https://www.theverge.com/2024/7/26/24206529/intel-13th-14th-... EDIT: Apple has the fastest single core https://browser.geekbench.com/mac-benchmarks https://browser.geekbench.com/mac-benchmarks
- aurareturn 1y agohttps://browser.geekbench.com/processor-benchmarks This hasn't been updated with Zen5 and Arrow Lake processors. I believe AMD comes out on top. Apple still fastest though.
- kristianp 1y agoYou're right, I searched for a Zen 5 chip and its single core is higher than the ones on that table: about 3200 Single-Core Score https://browser.geekbench.com/search?q=9700x https://browser.geekbench.com/search?q=9700x Mac Mini M4 Pro comes out higher with 3987 Single-Core Score: https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/12175463 https://browser.geekbench.com/v6/cpu/12175463
