Wow if only my public schools had displayed the Ten Commandments, I might not have gotten pregnant as a teenager and turned 21 in prison doing life without parole. Or maybe I'd have decided that, just like the Pledge of Allegiance, which was obviously a perfunctory ritual, the Ten Commandments were nonsense, to be ignored in order to retain my sanity.
