Pi 3 had issues with power voltage, eventually solved by special 5.1V adapters. All models has microSD longevity issues. PoE HATs had issues too.
One thing common to all models of Pi is that the onboard power circuits are either rather simplistic, or missing altogether. I think I saw somewhere that this may have to do with EU/UK regulations that otherwise forbid the bare board sold as a consumer product. Anyone read/heard similar?
