- johnisgood 1y agoI said what I said because you care about others. > those aren't what the vast majority of folks are using or pushing. Good for them. If you do not want to use SaaS, use a local model.
- AstralStorm 1y agoThat's where you find out you need $100k in hardware to do so, and I'm lowballing here. And a person who can put it together, it's not quite a typical ops setup. More if you want to actually train it.
- johnisgood 1y agoOf course, it is very expensive and I cannot afford the hardware required for running local models. My hardware is extremely old. :(
