Just today I've been dealing with an issue trying to update an XML column because the XML I'm trying to insert was escaping the string in the update query. But with DataGrip I could just pull the row I was interested and paste in the string from the UI. Surely there's another workaround that wouldn't involve a UI but this made it pretty easy.
