LLMs and AI are cool and great, but I have my worries. And this is more worrisome than the most desired quality of LLMs being intelligence. Reason being is that its just another way to not have to deal with other messy humans. Technology almost definitionally reduces pain, and this view of LLMs can be seen as removing the "pain" of dealing with impatient, unempathetic humans. I think this might exacerbate the loneliness problems we're seeing.
