- reader2000 14y ago900,000,000 users / 180,000 servers = 5,000 users/server.
- powertower 14y ago900MM-users div 180KK-servers = 5000 users/server Considering only a fraction of that is concurrent users at any given time (maybe 10%), it still seem a bit excessive, but they're not running a web server, they're pushing data around so it's a bit different. They also have to handle peak times and have redundancy.
