But it is still not possible to turn it off on IntelliJ products, right?
2 or 3 weeks ago I decided to learn Rust. I found an old version of RustRover (early 2024) on my machine, so I used that, and it was fine. Then I switched to my laptop, on which I installed the latest version. As I typed the tutorial code, it just kept pre-typing every line for me as it's in the Rust book, despite the fact that I disagreed and disabled all AI related options, since I wanted to learn, instead of watching a robot... so I stopped using my laptop for this. And I'm happy that I didn't update my desktop.

- not_your_vase 1y agoI am sure that you have read it, because you wouldn't comment without doing so. But let me repeat it: this happens with having these disabled. Actually it even asks during the first start if you want to enable it. But you know what, don't believe me. Try it yourself. But please don't copy-paste the first sentence from their support page, especially when it is explicitly refuted. It feels kind of insulting.
