The race to build the fighter planes of the future
- incomingpain 1y agoTrump pushed the F47? France/Germany's 6th gen is probably better. But I wonder. The future is obviously pilotless fighter drones. Without the need to have any pilot focused things, you dramatically reduce cost, weight, range and stealth/size of the fighter jet. The actual pilot gets to be in a cozy room operating it with a vr headset via starlink.
- jqpabc123 1y agooperating it with a vr headset via starlink. Which gives Musk control over your (and possibly your adversary's) defenses. Ask Ukraine how well this works.
