DHS Is Considering Reality Show Where Immigrants Compete for Citizenship
- cratermoon 1y agoMaybe we could call it "Squid Game"
- pogue 1y agoThis is the product of truly sick minds.
- sherdil2022 1y agoIs this what this country has come to. The founders must be turning in their graves. ‘Gladiator’ games, ‘Squid game’ - whatever you want to call it, this is modern day fascism.
- rvz 1y agoCombine this with "AGI" (Replacing people's jobs), Universal basic income, and currency devaluation and you will get a pantomime state and those who turn on the TV will be seeing the next series of Squid Game. What a great idea for the dystopia. /s

- inverted_flag 1y agoThe people in this administration revel in cruelty. It is their sole motivation.
- anigbrowl 1y agoI'm not a fan of the Daily Mail but they published the story first and with a variety of telling details: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14713113/DHS-Secretary-Kristi-Noem-reality-TV-immigrants-compete-US-citizenship.html https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14713113/DHS-Secret... I often make grumpy remarks blaming TV for social ills, but this is beyond parody. Guy Debord (author of the The Society of the Spectacle) was right all along.
- hulitu 1y ago> DHS Is Considering Reality Show Where Immigrants Compete for Citizenship I thought Squid games was fiction.
