The calls have died down for me because I screen my calls. For me the problem is all of the scammy postal mail.
- e40 1y agoNot sure what that means. Can you explain? Anything that can slow down spam, I'm for. Sometimes I answer and don't talk and after 10s they hang up. I was hoping the autodialing software would think "this is a dead line, let's remove it from the database" but I didn't notice a reduction after trying this.
- _mlbt 1y agoThe key is to only answer calls from people in your contacts. Everyone that really needs to get ahold of me will leave a voicemail or text me. By answering your phone you’ve let the spammers know that your phone number is active.
- e40 1y agoI tried that for an extended period of time, but it didn't seem to make a difference. The "answer and say nothing" didn't work, either.
