As someone who has kids and actively participates in their lives (homework, hobbies, etc), I think I can safely say: the need to keep learning and growing never stops.
You have to balance it with other needs.
But this industry doesn’t stand still, and as a part of it, I can’t either.
- em-bee 1y agohow am i supposed to achieve this balance? after working, doing some of the housework, helping to take care of the kids, spending time with them, spending time with my wife and taking some personal time to relax (1 hour tv, no more) there simply is no more energy or even time left to work on side projects.
- achierius 1y agoAnecdotally mornings seem to be a good time, if you can stick them.
