- hnta051425 1y agoDoesn't that only apply if he keeps it for himself? So long as it remains the property of the Federal Government my understanding is that this could be legal. It's still a terrible idea from a security perspective and it will probably take way more than $400 million to turn it into a viable Air Force One.
- nunez 1y agoTrump has a thing for gold-encrusted jet interiors, like his gold-encrusted 757 that sits parked at LGA for some reason. Completely unsurprising that he would spend massive taxpayer dollars (I'm presuming) on a bigger version covered in gold. And that's before you consider the impossible amount of dollars that Boeing and their subs (read: prime contracts funded by taxpayer dollars) would need to spend to convert it into a VC example.
