That decoy pricing trick is not a good strategy. It's very easy to see through, and will seriously annoy whoever you try it on. Somebody once produced a build vs buy analysis for me, and it was so obviously biased towards their preferred option (build, because it's more fun and expands their personal empire) that I knew I couldn't trust them with anything else after that. Just do the task honestly and well.
