The face of American capitalism is much closer to the guy who owns the local car repair shop.
- Terr_ 1y agoTrue from a certain perspective, but I don't think it's a useful one: A loose class that collectively owns lots of stuff is not really the same as individual (or group) which possesses agency as a capitalist entity. In other words, those aren't the guys making lawsuits to limit regulations, lobbying for international trade agreements, or helping change the worldwide blend of industries and services.
