Obama was like the Democratic version of Mitt Romney. To equate him with Trump is, bluntly, stupid. If the US stays a democracy, and a Democrat is ever elected as president again, one day we will get a leftist Trump who breaks the law as much as Trump does and is as cruel and stupid as Trump is, and then we really will be dithering back and forth between two extremes like a Latin American country post-dictatorship.
