I have applied for jobs online in the last 10 years. I was never asked who/what I was having sex with, what do I think I am (??), or where my parents went to college. I was asked about my race, presumably to comply with anti-discrimination laws. I always had the option of refusing to disclose. It sounds like you actually haven't applied to jobs in the last 10 years or have been applying to some seriously messed up places.
