We are discussing, in this sub-thread, methods by which people masquerade as others, stealing funds, abusing resources, and so on. The post I replied to was musing, essentially, "How could this possibly happen!?" My statement is entirely valid in this context. Social engineering attacks are a well known method to hack, and masquerading as others is indeed a hack.
