I’ll never understand why companies announce hardware products when they haven’t figured out all but known-fixable issues. It seems like a recipe for a ton of stress on the team internally, which doesn’t produce good results when you are doing something innovative (it works okay for rote death marches).
- moshun 1y agoThis is Elon Musk‘s MO: announce a feature that would be groundbreaking for the industry well before you have any real understanding of whether it can be built in the first place. A lot of old classmates are at SpaceX now and have told many horror stories of this happening across their projects.
