As usual, this article totally conflates "to help with homework" with "to cheat on homework". If you use it like a better Google, learning from its output rather than directly using the text, that’s definitely not cheating by any definition.
- colonial 1y agoIt should be qualified that this depends on what you're putting in the prompt box. An actual homework question - in whole or part - is (anecdotally) definitely considered cheating from a policy standpoint. On the other hand, "How do I [atomic thing]" (say, "reverse iterate over a list in Python") seems to be fine.
