I assume this is your last post on HN, since AI will surely be participating in the discussions here in the near future. Seriously, though… How will you “carve out a little island”? Computers are the kingdom of AI.

Very similar to Amish, Mennonites, Hutterites, etc. I imagine. Draw the line of what you think makes life good and follow as close as is reasonable, and if others agree they will associate.
