It always seemed like a weird marriage to me, and at the onset of Trump's administration, there were just too many people promising too many things. All of the different things the Trump administration were going to do were in direct conflict with eachother. And I think sometimes in the early days of that, it's easy to theorize or paint these rosy pictures about how the Religious right and tech right have more in common than they first appear. But the funny thing about leading, is that while the anticipation is rosier than you'd think, the leading is often even worse than I might imagine. Like it could be that Musk and the administration just didn't quite get along on ideological grounds, or Musk ran out of things to do, or it could be that he was kicked out just because people found him annoying.
