- rbanffy 1y agoI wonder if this is to sweeten the annexation deal...
- iAMkenough 1y agoWhat annexation deal?
- rbanffy 1y agoThe one Trump is hinting when he calls the Canadian Prime Minister "Governor".
- krapp 1y agoBut other than "the US invades Ontario", what is the "deal" supposed to be?
- iAMkenough 1y agoThat’s not a real “deal.” Canada made it clear today they’re not for sale.
- fifilura 1y agoI guess you may call it an offer then.
- bouchard 1y agoNo, it's the standard procedure for F35 parts supplied to allied countries. Which is why it's a bit of an issue in the current political context. But a U.S. Government Accountability Office report in 2023 revealed the rules governing the F-35 parts. The report noted that the parts are the property of the U.S. government until they are installed on another nation’s aircraft.
