- jryan49 1y agoCurrently, GH co-pilot sucks. At least the plan we have at work...
- UncleOxidant 1y agoAnd/or wiped out by VS Code plugins like Cline and Kilo which are free.
- boleary-gl 1y agoKilo Code maintainer here Just wanted to add "and open source!"
- mdaniel 1y agoI learned about your project from your comment on the Windsurf post but wanted to suggest that you plug your URL anytime you plug the project since it can make the difference between someone "adding it to their eventual list" versus "open in new tab, read, enjoy, engage" https://github.com/Kilo-Org/kilocode#-kilo-code https://github.com/Kilo-Org/kilocode#-kilo-code (Apache 2)
- UncleOxidant 1y agomaybe you could answer a question about kilo usage: If I choose Google Gemini as the API provider and give it my Gemini API key, why does it say that I'm low on credits (and I get API request failures)? As far as I understand gemini 2.5 pro is free to use.
- anon7000 1y agoProbably not — I know of companies dropping GH Copilot because of low internal usage compared to cursor.
- sunaookami 1y agoGitHub Copilot is a joke compared to Cursor and Windsurf. It's embarassing that MS had the lead and blew it (many such cases!).
