- chrisjj 1y agoMutt has search that actually works? The user docs suggest ut has jone at all.
- sam_lowry_ 1y agoWorks for me, even without IMAP SEARCH. Granted, once in a few years I backup old emails into a different mbox. I guess this helps.
- chrisjj 1y agoGood question. Thunderbird? Search like its 1999. I've found no client that offers search expressions like Gmail. Except Fastmail, whose results are wholly untrustworthy.
- troyvit 1y agoYeah I feel like Fastmail's search was good at one point and then sort-of went to suck.
- isaachinman 1y agoWe're building Marco, which is essentially a cross-platform, modern Thunderbird. Full-text search and indexing is done client-side via Orama, and search is on the order of single digit ms. https://marcoapp.io https://marcoapp.io
