Dormant volcano Uturuncu has seismic activity with "low eruption risk"

Loads of background info & more details here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uturuncu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uturuncu Locally and short-term: This volcano seems to have been gurgling & smoking for the past 1/4M years, without any eruptions. It's been accumulating more lava (many miles down) for the past half-ish century - but that is not cause for alarm. Globally and long-term: This volcano is part of a volcanic complex which has done several VEI 8 eruptions. Though nothing that big in the past couple million years. Hopefully that trend will continue.
