- Balgair 1y agoYeah, these bowmen weighed about 1.3X this draw weight. Imagine holding a one handed pull up, with 3 fingers, for a full minute.
- bluGill 1y agoThat would be extensive training in holding a drawn bow. Which isn't training anyone would have had.
- p_ing 1y agoNo one can sustain a hold of war bow weights for 60 seconds. That's 100#+ over three fingers and I'm not sure what the quality of tabs were like back then.
