your blog has 1 big problem - no SEO optimization, meaning that after spike of visitors from HN today, it will disappear in Google void after couple of days, meaning no visitors in the future, no mentions from ChatGPT, etc. It's most common problem for all self-hosted blog engines, though idea I like that main idea of minimalist blogs (I am using Bear blog by myself).
- cenamus 1y agoHow much does that actually matter? Most blogs I read I found via HN or through other blogs, I'd seldomly go googling for one, except when maybe lost the link, etc.
- Igor_Wiwi 1y agoIf you don't want others to discover it later, then it doesn't matter
- cosmicgadget 1y agoThis is tongue in cheek yes? I thought you were actually advocating for SEOization until the GPT mention. I think even SEO is on the outs in favor of established domain authority, so the best tactic is to blog expecting obscurity.
