- nikisweeting 1y agoabsolutely, because of the bearproof trashcan problem (smartest bears are smarter than the dumbest users, make your trashcans too bear-proof and the humans cant use them either). the AIs will be able to solve more CAPTCHAs than some humans can pretty soon. the next step is something like worldcoin/ID or biometric-gated access, or an extreme increase in the number of paywalls (not that I like either of those options). I don't see any other way forward on the decade+ timescale.
