Show HN: A secure, account-free way to share .env files with E2E encryption
Hi HN, my name is Bless. I'm a Stanford student and SWE intern at Microsoft.
I often needed to share .env files during handoffs or with teammates, but none of the tools felt secure and fast enough.
So I built Env — a free, no-login tool to paste environment variables, encrypt them locally, and share them via a secure link and encryption key.
No sign-up
One-click paste from .env files
You get a short link and can send the decryption key separately
Inspired by dev pain, powered by simplicity.
Try it here: https://www.useenv.com https://www.useenv.com
Would love feedback — especially from security-conscious folks!

That's the way mega does theirs
