I mean "backdated" in the sense that the repo history shows earlier commits-dated before I filed, but those commits are filled with unrelated, low-effort content (junk, gibberish, or placeholders). The later commits-after I filed - contain material that closely resembles my system. It gives the appearance of an older repo, but the meaningful content is recent.
- semanticc 1y agoEven if the meaningful content would have been older than yours, faking Git timestamps is trivial.
