I like the idea behind Deno. I hope the runtime stays relevant. JSR sounded amazing on paper, but in practice, it seemed to have a lot of papercuts. You still can't make an account there without a GitHub account, I think. I wish they made a stronger push for its standard library to be used outside Deno. Such a push would clash with their original goal of not depending on npm, I guess. A well-maintained set of common functionality implemented in a cross-runtime way is still needed by the ecosystem, I think.
