We ask for it because if you're not an EU citizen, we may need to apply for a work permit and potentially sponsor a visa on your behalf. The passport helps us determine if that's necessary and whether we're eligible to make that request to the authorities.
- mixmastamyk 1y agoCouldn't that be handled with a question of what country your passport is issued? Getting a copy before an offer is made is a data liability and potentially harmful to applicants.
