It is weird, but I distinctly remember when I lost the unconditional happiness I had since I was a child. It never came back and I miss it. It is not like I am not happy, it is just that it depends on many factors.
- 1970-01-01 1y agoI also distinctly remember having a late afternoon sit to think very hard about my future, with a conclusion of 'this is just about the end of childhood, it's time to start becoming an adult with some hard responsibilities' result. I was 12 or 13, and there was absolutely no pretext for doing that. For a long time, I assumed many people had this direct kind of enlightenment, but now I think the opposite. So I'm not the same person I used to be due to simply having the drive to change for the better and correct my bad assumptions.
