- cryptonector 1y agoSnobs come in all colors and parties. Jim Crow racists there were plenty, but the eugenics ideas and projects of the 1920s in the North were horrible in their own right.
- wqaatwt 1y agoEugenics and forced sterilization were a major progressive policy back in those days. It transcended political lines e.g. in 1912 Wilson, Roosevelt and Taft all supported it.
