There are no owners (shareholders) getting dividends, is the major difference.
- daft_pink 2y agoi just am not sure that the lack of shareholders is a reasonable reason why hosptitals and universities should have non-profit status they appear to be operating as a large business that try to bring in more revenue than expenses and don’t seem focused on the public good and seem to have other motivations.
