    That was never my premise. It's also absurd. Machines can't make a person feel powerful because they're controlling another human being.

      "I really wish that machines could just take over at some point and we could be free of the pointless jobs we have." Your words. No it is not absurd. That is the goal for AGI/ASI sytems and it is an existential threat to human civilization, currently being debated at a very high level.
