I agree but Auto industry is not about car manufacturers. Players like auto insurance companies (who constitute billions of dollars in market cap) will not fade

Accidents will still happen. The insurance industry will still exist. There are approximately zero auto-only insurance companies. There are still plenty of other things to insure.
