I think there's 3 democrats who are STARTING to understand their problems.
Gavin Newsom suddenly talking to the enemy. Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon? Not that this has given the answer exactly but right direction.
AOC after she found out that her voters voted for trump and she changed big time. I doubt she will ever figure it out though.
Bill Maher who gets it, just doesn't agree and refuses to say the fixes. he also sees the big picture and is fine with the bipartisan destination. No doubt that future looks remarkable for the USA.
All other democrats have been misled and misdirected so badly.
- dragonwriter 2y ago> Gavin Newsom suddenly talking to the enemy. Gavin Newsom did that when he realized he was done with electoral politics and was ready to turn to a money making post-politics career. Even as an attack dog (which he was very effective at when he was trying) he has almost zero support from Democrats outside of CA, and he’s termed out next year. He didn't realize the (fictious) problem with Democratic politics you are talking about, he started preparing for a career change. > AOC after she found out that her voters voted for trump AOC’s district voted 65-33 for Harris while re-electing her 69-30. And she's now seen in polling as the most significant Democratic leader and is running (with Sen. Sanders) a massive nationwide campaign against the GOP. > Bill Maher Bill Maher has never been a Democrat, he’s been a very vocal independent that has jumped on almost every right-wing hate campaign since post-9/11 Islamophobia.

He's certainly still a front runner, though obviously kamala is far leading. Which would be a shockingly bad decision for the democrats. Not that im saying gavin would be better. >AOC’s district voted 65-33 for Harris while re-electing her 69-30. >And she's now seen in polling as the most significant Democratic leader and is running (with Sen. This was a veil lifting for her for sure. I certainly cant say she gets it now but that was the portal for her to understand. Still puts her ahead of other democrats. AOC would likely be a worse choice compared to kamala. >Bill Maher has never been a Democrat, he’s been a very vocal independent that has jumped on almost every right-wing hate campaign since post-9/11 Islamophobia. I guess i would concede he's never been a democrat politician. Dont matter to me. What matters to me is that the democrats are throwing elections and trump has full power to come after my country. No thanks. Can the democrats do what's needed to not lose the elections. Thanks.
- fuzzfactor 2y ago>voters are more influenced by what they watch, listen to and like than by politicians. Right there in plain English, the strategy that worked for Trump twice, because the GOP party machine crafted what (double-digit percentages of) voters listen to, and the politician, to be one and the same. And rallied every week for four years promoting him like a rock star on the road. When 4 years earlier after his first disastrous term, a wet dishrag could have beat Trump, and that's pretty much what happened. Now there's no other way to beat that system any more. It's not rocket science. It's pop culture. Intellectuals won't help you now. The Democrats don't have a single person they can rally a crowd behind, and it would have to be an already-popular individual that's attractive to non-voters more than either party has had, and stick with them. Every single week, rally after rally. If Trump could do it, a younger person surely can.
- dragonwriter 2y ago> He's certainly still a front runner While being front-runner for a primary 3 years out isn't all that conclusive as to your prospects, he certainly isn't the frontrunner now, with Harris far and away the current frontrunner, Buttigieg consistently polling in second place, far behind Harris but clearly ahead of anyone else, and recently AOC climbed out of the pack behind those two. Newsom has no particular signs of future political life.
