I assume you're being facetious; because popular (and good, trustworthy) extensions written by initially passionate people often end-up being bought-out by dodgy orgs - with very-hard-to-refuse offers - and the Chrome Extension Store has no way of knowing about that. I had a Chrome extension with about 20,000 users and I received unsolicited buyout offers a few times a year, and some offers were very hard to refuse - but it's not hard to imagine anyone else capitulating.
